Note:

Absinthe can untether jailbreak your iPhone 4S on both iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 But it only jailbreaks the iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1

How To Jailbreak iPhone 4S/iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 using Absinthe [Windows]?

Step 1: Download Absinthe for Windows.

Step 2: Unzip the file > Right Click on “absinthe.exe” and Hit “Run as administrator”

Step 3: Plug your iPhone 4S / iPad 2 to the USB cable.

Step 4: After Absinthe recognizes your device hit “Jailbreak”

Step 5: Once the program finishes, Go to your device home screen, you should find the Absinthe icon Hit it to finalize your jailbreak process.

Step 6: After the jailbreak process is finished, your device will restart and the Absinthe icon will be replaced by Cydia’s icon.
